Supporters for both candidates came out to Morningside College Tuesday night. We caught up with some of them to see what they thought of King and Vilsack's performances.
"I thought it was a good debate. I think Christie told it like it is. And I think she gave people the opportunity to see what the alternative is to Steve King," said Jery Moore, Sioux City.
"He is someone who is willing to help turn this culture back into what we've lost and we need to store America's values and he's the man to do it," Dorothy Schlitter, of Onawa Iowa.
"I thought he did a very good job of answering the questions. I've been very disappointed with the way Christie Vilsack, doesn't seem like if you ask her a direct question, she doesn't give a direct answer," said Elizabeth Widman, of Sergeant Bluff, IA.
