Thursday night's Debate lived up to the hype - both Vice President Biden and Congressman Ryan aggressively challenged the other ticket's positions. It began on foreign policy...and last month's attack on the American Consulate in Libya.

Ryan slammed the administration for a slow response, "It took the president two weeks, to acknowledge this was a terror attack."

"With all due respect that was a bunch of malarkey. not a single thing he said was true//that is exactly what we were told by the intelligence community. They changed their assessment.," said Biden.

Ryan said the Obama Administration has allowed Iran to get closer to obtaining a nuclear weapon.

"Administration has no credibility," said Ryan.

"These are the most crippling sanctions in history of sanctions," said Biden.

President Obama was criticized for being too passive in last week debate, Vice President Biden seemed determined not to make that same mistake. That shouldn't be surprising when Governor Romney says 47% are looking for a handout. They pay more tax than Governor Romney pays for his income tax. But Ryan said the Obama Administration has failed the middle class.

"Going in the wrong direction - look at where we are - economy is barely limping along."

Side by side at the same table, Biden and Ryan were not shy about directly engaging each other...sometimes with harsh attacks...sometimes with humor.

"Sometimes words come out the wrong way...," said Ryan.

"But I always say what I mean," said Biden.

With the polls tightening, the President needs to fire up his base...while Romney needs to win over 2008 Obama voters.
