Earlier this week.

Missouri river historical development announced that it's teaming up to try to bring a Hard Rock Sioux city Casino to the old battery building in downtown Sioux City.

And now Ho Chunk is trying to get in on the deal.

It recently announced plans to build a 110-million dollar casino in Sioux City.

So, just where would it go?

Well it is looking at two possible locations.  One is the former Warrior Hotel and the second option is a completely new complex on 4th and Pearl St.

So which one is it favoring? CEO and President, Lance Morgan, says it will be a hard pick.

"We actually love them both, we're big fans of The Warrior and then we're also more than willing to build a newer more contemporary style project with the Pearl," he said.

The CEO also says he's going to need at least 400 employees, and says he's hoping to hire all the current Argosy Casino workers.

"We're going to need all of them and more, and so I don't know why we wouldn't embrace the trade workforce and obviously the political leaders in this community are very concerned about the workforce."

There still could be other casino proposals out there. All the interested bidders must have their proposals into The Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission by Nov. 1st.
