On a very chilly night in Sioux City, former President Bill Clinton got a warm welcome from the crowd on Historic 4th Street. Hundreds of people came out to show their support for Iowa's 4th District Congressional Candidate Christie Vilsack. And amongst this crowd of supporters her biggest one... Mr. Bill Clinton.

"You are not going to have many chances in your life to vote for someone who knows as much, and cares as much and can do as much for you as Christie Vilsack," said Clinton.

Clinton said in order to complete projects like Highway 20, and capitalize on Iowa's wind energy, you need a bi-partisan approach in Congress.

"You can make lots and lots of opportunities for rural America. You can give money to communities to can give money to farmers, you can do all kinds of things with all the income that comes, but first you have to build it," said Clinton.

The former president commended Vilsack on her efforts in Iowa, and says it takes shared prosperity and compromise in congress to move this state and this country forward.

"You want to see that highway completed, vote for Christie Vilsack. Send Washington a message that you want an infrastructure grant. Her opponent said what he wanted to do, was take this country to the right. What Christie wants to do is take it forward."
