Musketeers Earn First Win

Sioux City, Iowa - Dan Molenaar gave the Sioux City Musketeers a 3-2 (OT) victory over the Indiana Ice when he scored 1:19 into the extra period.

Sioux City was led by Molenaar, who finished with one goal.

The Musketeers put 44 shots on net during the contest, more than the 33.6 they average per game.

Sioux City additionally got points from David Goodwin, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Sioux City also got a goal from Conor Andrle as well. In addition, Sioux City received assists from Jared Kolquist and Jared Thomas, who contributed one a piece.

Indiana's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Sioux City power plays. The Ice got an offensive boost from their blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.
