Around 10 a.m. Tuesday morning, Sioux City Police were called out to a rear end car collision on I-29.
Police said a Volkswagen heading southbound was hit from behind while slowing down near the Southern Hills Mall's exit.
Two people were taken to the hospital.
The extent of the injuries is not known.
