They may be a bit too young to vote, but the young ladies at Girls Inc in Sioux City are still making a statement.

They held a "mock election" Tuesday. The pretend vote was pretty real, right down to pre–vote registration.

This is all part of the nationwide "She Votes" project to help kids learn about voting, so the can be ready to cast their ballots for real someday.

"Now that they've had the chance to vote, they think that when they turn 18 they're gonna be able to know what's going on and they're more interested in politics and everything that goes around in the U.S," said Gabriela Baldovinos from Girls Inc.

And if you're curious, unofficial exit polling shows President Obama may have come away with the win.
