Dowry Costumes in Sioux City is in its final weeks as it closes November 24th.

Right now everything in the store is 60 percent off.

On Wednesday for Halloween, people were flocking to the store for its sales and to get some last second costumes for the holiday.

"I am a huge Halloween fan, and so Dowry was the one place to go to get great costumes. They have everything you can imagine," said Amy Thompson of Sioux City.

During the Halloween season this year, the Dowry said its best sellers have been zombies and superheros, but it still has thousands of costumes to sell.

Many of them being its old rentals that folks have long anticipated to own.

"Every year they've come in and said, 'I really would like to own this, will you sell it?' and I've said, 'I won't sell it because I have to have it available for next year.' So now, people are buying a lot of things that they've always liked and wanted," said owner, Diane Widner.

Widner said she is confident the store will sell most of its costumes before the end of November, but if everything does not go, she said she will look to the Internet or antique shows to sell what is left over.
