Local Democrats gathered in support of President Obama last night at the Fourth Street Cafe, and Dalton's Pub in Sioux City.
When the announcement was made President Obama was re-elected folks responded excitedly.
Democrat Bruce Lear said, "Well it's historic because this is an opportunity for us to begin working together to really get some things that need to be done, done."
Democrat Constance Traum said, "It's huge, it's a victory for women, working people, for everybody, it's huge and we're all so excited."
Democrat Maria Lundquist said, "This is the best day of my life, all my effort all my work, the effort Iowa put for the win, it feels humble, it feels so great! So four more years."
