Heelan and M-M-C advance to State Football Finals

Cedar Falls, IA - The local teams are two for two in the state football semifinals. Heelan advanced to the finals in Class 3A, and M-M-C did the same in 8-man football. Both teams had their game in hand by halftime. Heelan went on to beat second ranked Grinnell 42-14. M-M-C cruised past Exira/EHK 61-22. Both teams play in the state semis next Thursday in Cedar Falls.
