Wind is to blame for making a fire much worse than it probably otherwise would have been.
A large barn, full of hay, near Whiting, Iowa, went up in flames within a matter of minutes. The fire spread to nearby grass land and charred more than 20 acres. Windy conditions made it hard for Onawa and Whiting fire crews to get everything under control.
The barn is a total loss, nobody was injured and no word yet on what caused the fire in the first place.
