Live music, good food, and one great atmosphere.

The "Big Hug at the Big Snug" was a huge success Monday night.

All ticket sales and silent auction items went to benefit the new Pier Center for Autism right here in Sioux City, which will soon be providing challenged kids and families with the services they need and the progress they deserve.

Tony Michaels, a Pier Center Board Member, says, "We're looking at giving the best educational services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. And it's so nice when you can actually move it forward and you can see positive traction. We're gonna see results and that's really the end result...is results."

This was the Pier Center's first major fundraiser, but if you weren't able to make it, there are still ways you can help. Head to: http://www.piercenter.org/
