Lincoln, NE - Saturday's game against Minnesota will be Nebraska's final home game of the season, and the Huskers could get a huge boost. Senior running back Rex Burkhead says he could return from a knee injury to play against Minnesota. Burkhead has missed five games this season because of the injury suffered in the first half of the season opener.
Bo Pelini said Monday that Burkhead had been ``pushing really hard'' in his rehabilitation and had shown signs of improvement. The senior from Plano, Texas, didn't appear in the last two games after aggravating the injury in the first quarter against Northwestern on Oct. 20.
