One person from Sioux City was sent to the hospital this morning with carbon monoxide poisoning. Sioux City Fire Rescue was called to a home at 2321 South Maple Street around 10 this morning.
One person was taken to the hospital, but the name and condition of the person has not yet been released.
MidAmerican Energy crews were also on scene. The homes furnace was red–tagged and is listed as the cause of the carbon monoxide poisoning.
