It's been four months since 9-year-old, Elizabeth Collins went missing from Evansdale, Iowa.
"She loved playing sports, she was kind of rough, but still a girly-girl and she always smiled. She was always smiling."
These are just some of the things Drew Collins says will never fade about his daughter, no matter how long she's gone.
"Not wanting to get out of bed…just feeling so low."
And these are some of the things he hopes do fade.
You see, Elizabeth and her cousin, 11-year-old, Lyric Cook-Morrissey were last seen on July 13th.
While pleased with the investigation so far, Drew and his wife, Heather, decided to take matters into their own hands.
Heather is traveling Northeast Iowa. Drew? Northwest. Including Sioux City, passing out fliers and gathering any information they possibly can.
Drew says, "Someone out there knows something. Two girls just don't disappear into thin air. Someone knows something and they've got to dig deep and find the courage they need to find to bring our girls home."
So when does his journey end? Drew's not so sure it will. Not for a while, anyway.
"You know, you don't get a choice whether you want do it, you just have to do it. I'm not gonna give up on my daughter or my niece until I see them, again."
