Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 17th for the 3 children and 1 adult killed in a house fire in Lake City, IA on Tuesday.
Services for Tyra Pierson, 22, Madison Pierson, 8, Wyatt Pierson, 3, and Xavier Pierson, 11 months will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Lake City Union Church with Rev. Betty Weidert officiating.
A private family burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Lampe funeral home in Lake City.
It appears the fire was started by a metal lamp cord, that somehow got stuck in the cushions of a couch.
The cushions over heated and caught on fire.
