Cedar Falls, IA - Spirit Lake held off a late charge from top ranked and undefeated Mediapolis to win the Class 2A football title 17-15.  The Indians picked off a pass late in the game to stop a drive that would have given Mediapolis the lead.  Spirit Lake beat two number one teams in the playoffs this year.  Boyden Hull/Rock Valley and Mediapolis were tied for the top spot in Class 2A and the Indians beat them both during their playoff run.
