Le Mars Man Convicted For Breaking Into Home And Assaulting Girl

A Le Mars man who went on a crime spree in March has been found guilty of all the charges against him.

The jury in the trial of 20 year old Matthew Jandreau reached a guilty verdict Monday night.

Back on March 2nd, Jandreau was arrested after going on a drunken crime spree and breaking into a Le Mars residence and assaulting an 11 year old girl.

He was found guilty of burglary; kidnapping, assault with intent to commit sexual abuse causing bodily injury; operating a motor vehicle without owner's consent; criminal mischief and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

A date for sentencing has not yet been set.
