Shoppers wasted no time stocking up on holiday bargains this year. Stores opened their doors earlier than ever. And from the looks of it, folks didn't seem to mind pushing back from the table in order to get to the front of the line.

Shoppers first in line at Sears at Southern Hills Mall, showed up at 4 am and spent their entire Thanksgiving in line just to get a marked down Android tablet.

A massive line that grew behind those folks.

Sears joined many other nationwide giants opening earlier than ever this year. Doors there busted open at 8 pm.

Black Thursday shoppers we spoke to said despite the early start, they weren't giving up on their Thanksgiving traditions.

Janet Torres of Fort Dodge, IA said, "We're having our Thanksgiving Saturday and I think my kids will just be really happy. They really want these tablets and so, I think it's worth it."

Elizabeth Newman of Sloan, IA said, "It's starting at 8. I think that gives plenty of time for family in the afternoon and gives us some sleep tonight, and we're not getting up at 5 in the morning."

Julie Burow of Sioux City said, "We had our Thanksgiving at about noon and actually, everybody was full and we were done and got the kitchen cleaned up. So we came out here, we've been out here since 4 o'clock."

Target's a consistent attraction on Thanksgiving weekend. It too opened earlier than ever before at 9 o'clock Thursday evening.
