There is a small business staple here in Sioux City, that isn't participating in this years "Small Business Saturday", and that is because it is getting ready to close its doors for good.

Sadoff's clothing store, located in Shopko strip mall off Hamilton Boulevard, is closed for the next several days as it prepares for its "Quitting Business Sale."

The men's clothing store has been in Sioux City for more than a century, making it one of the oldest retail stores in town. The current owner, 70-year old, Arlen De Zeeum, told the Sioux City Journal that after 50-years in the business, it is just time to retire. De Zeeum bought the store in 2002 after the death of Lester Sadoff, grandson to the store's original owner.
