A popular Sioux City sculpture could soon make a return. On Monday, the Sioux City City Council will review a plan to bring John Henry's famous french fries sculpture out of storage. The fries would be placed where the Art Center's transfer point building currently sits on the corner of Third and Pierce. The fries have been in storage for the past six years and Art Center staff believe they will draw more people into the Art Center.

Sioux City Art Center Director, Al Harris-Fernandez, says, "It'll act as a beacon for people coming down Pierce Street and Third Street to announce that they're at the Sioux City Art Center."

If the City Council passes the motion to level the transfer point building, the sculpture could be back out within the next few months depending on the weather.
