Augustana Hands Wayne State Women First Loss

Sioux Falls, S.D. - No. 10 Augustana handed No. 9 Wayne State its first loss of the season, 82-56 

 The host Vikings are now 5-0 on the season and 1-0 in league play while Wayne State falls to 3-1 and 0-1 in the NSIC.

Junior forward Ellen Hansen led Wayne State with 14 points and 11 rebounds for her second double-double of the season. Sophomore forward Jordan Spencer and freshman guard Addy Roller also reached double figures with 11 points apiece.

Wayne State will be at home next weekend for a pair of Northern Sun Conference contests, hosting Sioux Falls Friday at 6 p.m. and Southwest Minnesota State Saturday at 4 p.m. at Rice Auditorium in Wayne.
