A Storm Lake woman is facing 15 counts of animal neglect after authorities say she abandoned a home full of cats.
42 year old Dawn Williams is accused of abandoning the home with 15 cats inside about 6 months ago.
When police entered the home, after a possible burglary report, they found the skeletal remains of all 15 cats.
It appears the cats ran out of food and started to feed on each other before dying.
Williams was booked into the Bunea Vista County Jail.
