Road rage. We're probably all a little guilty of it from time to time. Especially in construction. But here's a case of it that went a little too far.

Sioux Falls police say at least one shot was fired during a "road rage" traffic incident early Saturday morning around 2 AM.

Two vehicles swerved at each other for several blocks when the lead vehicle slammed on the brakes, causing the other vehicle to rear-end it.

That's when a gunshot from the rear vehicle went through the windshield and lodged into the back of the front vehicle.

Thankfully, no one was injured, but police say 23-year-old Jessie Quarve was charged with drunk driving, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm while intoxicated.

29-year-old Matthew Leiss was charged with reckless driving.
