A Nebraska teenager sustained a shotgun blast to the back of his head while pheasant hunting yesterday with his father in Page County.
18 year-old, Ryan Rearick of Omaha, Nebraska was hit in the back of the head at short range from a shotgun being carried and accidentally fired by his father, Christopher Rearick.
Ryan was immediately transported to a hospital, then airlifted to Creighton University Medical Center, where he is currently in stable condition and is expected to survive his wound.
The incident is still being investigated by the DNR.
