20-year old Michael P. Randles of Norfolk, NE was arrested Sunday for stealing a Salvation Army donation can.
It happened at around 3pm at a Dairy Queen, 710 S. 13th Street, in Norfolk. Police say Randles entered the business, briefly sat down and then grabbed the donation can and ran.
Witnesses got a glimpse of his appearance and his license plate number. Police found his vehicle and then Randles about 20 minutes later.
After his arrest, Randles was housed in the Norfolk County Jail and later released on cash bond.
