Some local establishments are prepping for "big business" on Thursday when Morningside College plays for the NAIA Football National Championship in Rome, Georgia.

"Bob Roe's Point After" bar near Morningside is reserving room for Morningside faculty and staff.

The bar is expecting over 140 people on Thursday.

Owner Bob Roe said it is an exciting time for the college, and he is looking forward to being apart of it.

"I'm an old timer, I look back to 1956 when Morningside won the North Central Conference and this is probably the most excited thing since."

On Thursday, the bar will be having a $2.00 dollar bratwurst special as well as many drink specials for the game.
