United Association of Storm Restoration Contractors (UASRC) adds founding member Acumen Contracting.
The United Association of Storm Restoration Contractors (UASRC) is pleased to announce the addition of founding member, Acumen Contracting to the organization. Acumen Contracting was founded in 2009. The mission of Acumen Contracting Group is to create a business that serves our communities, brings value to all we touch, and creates strong professionalism in an industry that is not always known for it. They have locations in Denver, Phoenix, Houston, Oklahoma City and Dallas.
“We jumped at the chance to join the UASRC after seeing who else was involved in the association. I have a lot of respect for the other founding member contractors, and anytime we can get together and share and learn from other industry leaders, we will make our company stronger, and ultimately everyone wins, especially our clients.” Said Matt Miller, CEO.
The UASRC was formed as a non-profit organization with the goal of inspiring positive change in the storm restoration industry. The mission of the UASRC and its initial founding Members is to promote the highest ethical standards in the restoration industry. Our Members adhere to a code of professional conduct, educate property owners about the insurance claims process, and give back to the community through outreach and charitable programs.
The founders now consist of the following companies: Hoffman Weber Construction, Mastercraft Exteriors, Canopy Construction, Reroof America, PGRS, Kaiser Roofing, Precision Roof Contractors, American Home Specialists, Infinity Roofing and Siding, Grace Homes, Cedar Valley Exteriors, ProTouch Exteriors, Ideal Roofing and Exteriors, Aspenmark Roofing and Solar, Storm Guard Franchise Systems, Craftsmen Restoration and Remodeling, NMC Exteriors, AREI, LLC, and Acumen Contracting.
With over 140 years of combined experience in the roofing and restoration industry, our founding members look to make a positive impact on the industry by providing the best in-class service to homeowners affected by storms. The UASRC will also work closely with legislators, insurance companies, and both local and national media to improve the practices and image of the storm restoration industry.
After storms hit an area, homeowners are often approached by transient roofing companies to assist with insurance claims and repairing the damage. UASRC members will be instantly recognizable with their credentials and UASRC identification badges. As a best practice, you should look for the following to identify a legitimate roofer:
The UASRC was formed in part to give property owners the information they need to make an informed decision in regards to their storm related repairs. Our facebook page UASRC Facebook has a lot of great information on the storm restoration industry. The UASRC also serves as a resource for property owners and contractors that have fallen victim to disreputable contractors, and insurance claim related issues.
