Slippery roads played a part in a handful of accidents this morning.
One collision happened around 3:00 am at the intersection of 14th and Main Street in Sioux City.
The driver lost control of his vehicle and spun into a pole. Police say no one was seriously injured, and they believe alcohol was also a factor.
