So many of us are guilty of it: making the mad dash to the store to shop for those last minute items during the holiday season.
Sioux City's Samantha Dailey is shopping for ties for her boyfriend. And if she can't find the right one, she knows just what she'll get for him instead.
Dailey said, "The reason I thought of the luggage is because he was using a plastic sack when we would travel."
And procrastination isn't genetic.
Thelma Nelson said, "I usually shop through the year, and then finish up after Thanksgiving. And so, I'm done. Everything's wrapped under the tree."
Her daughter, Susan Stephens said, "And I'm usually a last minute shopper. But this is still kind of late for me though."
But there are benefits to waiting 'until the last minute and those are sales, sales and more sales.
"Usually around the third, the week before Christmas, you get a lot better sales because they want to get rid of the merchandise and get ready for spring," said Charmaine Cantrell of Dakota City, NE.
So, no need to fret, if you're still shopping, you've got time.
Here's to happy shopping and even happier holidays.
