A technicality helps a Siouxland man get out of trouble with the law.  Charges against former wrestling coach Chad Utesch have been dropped.  He was accused of having sexual contact with a 17 year old student while he was coaching at Akron–Westfield High School.

However, officials say his coaching permit had expired in January of 2010 and it was never renewed.  Under Iowa's code, that meant that he was not a school employee.  As a result, the charge of sexual exploitation by a school employee was dismissed.
