Thank goodness for "technicalities." It's what helped a Siouxland man get out of trouble with the law.
Charges against former Akron–Westfield wrestling coach, Chad Utesch, have officially been dropped.
He was accused of having sexual contact with a 17 year old student, however, officials say his coaching permit had expired in January of 2010 and was never renewed, meaning he was technically, not a school employee.
As a result, the charge of sexual exploitation by a "school employee" was dismissed.
