It was a scary scene Monday afternoon on Old Highway 141 south of Bronson.
A semi truck flipped on the side of the highway.
When the Woodbury County Sheriff's office arrived on scene, they had to break the windshield of the truck to get the driver out.
The Sheriff's office said the driver was turning onto the highway, but took the turn a little too fast.
"I think coming around that curve to make the hill can be tough. That's probably what made the difference," said Sheriff Elect Dave Drew with the Woodbury County Sheriff's office.
The semi driver was the only person involved in the accident.
He was taken to Mercy Medical Center for minor injuries.
