Whether we can help it or not, Christmas shopping sometimes gets put off until the last minute.
"Everything was just so busy, between work and all my children's activities," said Rebecca Bates of Moville.
Shopping last minute can be very stressful for some but not all.
Debby Walker of Glenham, South Dakota said she is a "Last Minute Christmas Shopping Pro" and preferred doing it all the day before.
"We're used to it. We like the challenge. It's like a sport," said Walker.
And Debby isn't alone.
Other "Last Minute Christmas Shopping Pros" said now more than ever is the best time to go.
Why? Because of all the sales going on the day before Christmas.
"They always put things 50 to 60 percent off," said Nicole Nelson of Fargo, North Dakota. "It's the best time to come."
On Monday at the Southern Hills Mall in Sioux City, lots of stores put many items on sale or clearance, making it easy on the pocketbook of shoppers.
"There are a lot of good deals and having two little girls, well, it's the best time to come and get clothes," said Nicole Nichols of Dakota Dunes, South Dakota.
Many of these "Shopping Pros" said the day before will not be the only day they will be out.
They will hit the stores yet again the day after Christmas for all those "After Christmas" sales.
