Five minutes.
That's what some Sioux City shoppers on Wednesday said it took for them to wait, return or exchange their Christmas gifts.
Why?
Because the lines weren't that long.
"I walked right up, no line. It was nice," said Linda Flewelling of Moville.
"I was super surprised when I came here," said Krissy Hansen of Sioux City. "It was not bad at all. When I first got here there was that guy with the huge box, and it kind of made me nervous."
Shoppers didn't know why the lines were so short.
Some store managers spoken to said that gift card business is very big right now which could play into why fewer shoppers were returning things Wednesday morning.
