Spencer Iowa Company Gets State Funding

A Spencer, IA business is set for expansion.  Simonsen Iron Works Thursday received a $200,000 dollar loan from the Iowa Economic Development Authority Board.
It was one of three requests approved by the authority.

The company plans to use the funds to help develop a new product focus that includes nine new jobs.  A total of 41 jobs are impacted by the announcement.

The Spencer base company manufactures outdoor recreational and agriculture products.
