Why leave your warm, comfortable home and brave the elements for lunch when you can pay to have your food brought right to your front door?

And what's convenient for you, is profitable for delivery services.

Delivery driver Jess Kota knows what we mean.

He works for Jimmy Johns, an already busy chain, especially when it comes to deliveries.

But with the messy road conditions this week, he's making more trips than usual.

Jess Kota said, "I don't drive my wife's car so much when the snow's on the ground. We've been blessed with a 4-wheel drive so it's not so bad. But it's slick in spots."

Early Friday afternoon, he was making between 4-5 trips an hour with up to 4 individual deliveries per trip.

Add that up, he estimates he'll deliver up to 50 sandwiches Friday.

And if you plan on ordering delivery from any restaurant, make sure to throw in a tip, they are driving in less than favorable conditions so you don't have to.
