57-year-old Patricia Oldenburg has died as a result of her injuries from a Sunday afternoon accident on Highway 77 south of Dakota City, NE.  Two child passengers in Oldenberg's vehicle are currently hospitalized.

The accident happened 2:40pm in the northbound lane of Highway 77.  Oldenberg's car was sitting in the roadway as she was waiting to turn.  A car driven by 27-year-old Heather Residorph of Sioux City rear ended Odenburg's car and pushed it into the southbound lane.

That is when another car; driven by 20-year-old Allina White of Winnebago, NE; hit Oldenberg's car forcing it into the west ditch just off of Highway 77.

Odlenberg was taken to the hospital where she died of her injuries.  Two children in her car, a 3-year-old in a car seat and an 8-year-old in a booster seat, were taken to the hospital for treatment.  No word on their names or conditions has been made available.
