Blue Mountain in Orange City is on the magazine "Midwest Living's" list of "Best New Midwest Attractions, Hotels and Restaurants" for 2012
The restaurant is known for its wood-fire barbeque and pizza.
It was built around a barn and has a Midwest feel but international flare to it.
Owner, Clayton Korver said the recognition feels pretty good and fun at the same time.
"It really makes our team feel pretty good. The truth is we don't get that much recognition on this side of the state. It's fun to get some," said Korver.
Inside the restaurant, Korver shares all kinds of relics and pieces that he's collected while traveling around the world which he said is one of the things that separates his restaurant from others.
