It's more than doubling in size.
Quatro Composites of Orange City, a maker of aerospace and medical equipment parts, is adding a 45,000 square foot building to manufacture more parts.
"In the last 12 or so months we've been awarded 2 or 3 major contracts so that precipitated us to do the expansion," said Steve Roesner, Quatro Composites President.
The $11.8 million dollar project will include two phases.
First, build the new addition to the existing 29,000 square foot original building.
Then, remodel the original building.
The project is expected to add close to one hundred new jobs to the area.
"The state has supported us with some financial assistance in our expansion and our contribution to that is to add 99 jobs in the next 36 months," said Roesner.
Roesner said the expansion is currently on schedule and is expected to be completed this June.
