UPDATE: Onawa Woman Robbed and Assaulted With Stun Gun

According to court paperwork Trea Carter and Nicholas Conyers broke into the home next door to their residence and assaulted 75 year old Nancy Marnell.  They got away with $130.

At about 1:50 a.m. Wednesday, the Onawa Police Department responded to a 911 call reporting a robbery and an assault that had occurred from a home Invasion in Onawa.

A 75-year old woman who lives by herself, reported that two-men forced their way into her home. They then assaulted her with a stun gun, and stole money.

The Onawa Police Department arrested 20-year old Nicholas Conyers of Onawa and on Thursday afternoon they arrested 19-year old Trae Carter of Onawa.

Both Nicholas Conyers and Trae Carter have been charged with several felonies including first degree robbery and burglary. As well as assault while participating in a felony.

Both Nicholas Conyers and Trae Carter are currently in custody at the Monona County Jail in Onawa.
