"They grabbed me right here and pushed me right into this corner. The one was right here and he grabbed me and put his hand over my mouth and nose," said Marnell.
It all happened early Wednesday morning. Nancy Marnell, 75, says she heard a pounding on her door, and by the sounds of it she thought someone was in trouble. But as soon as she unlocked the door two men in masks shoved their way in.
Marnell, who has a bad knee and uses a cane to get around, says she stumbled backwards. That's when the one intruder grabbed her.
"They said all we want is your money. I said well I don't have very much money," said Marnell.
Not satisfied with that answer, Marnell says the one intruder began ransacking the house, while the other, tried to put a pillow case over her head. When that didn't work they tried to use a stun gun.
"They put it on each side of my neck but it didn't work."
So Marnell just stood there while the one man held her arm, and the other ravaged through her purse.
"I realized you got to stay calm. You got to concentrate on everything that's going on. If you are in a bad situation, so you survive," said Marnell.
The two men got away with over 100 dollars in cash. And luckily for Marnell, she only had a couple scraps and bruises.
Onawa Police have arrested the two men the department believes committed the crime. The men are Nicholas Conyers and Trae Carter. They're both facing several felony charges.
