PIERRE, S.D. – Officials with the South Dakota Department of Transportation say travel conditions on stretches of I-90 and other highways in western South Dakota remains very difficult and no travel is advised.

As this winter storm continues to track through South Dakota, motorists can expect hazardous driving conditions including snow-packed and slippery roads, drifting, limited visibility, and dangerous wind chills.

Motorists are being asked to postpone travel plans until the storm clears Saturday morning.
