The United States Marshal's office and Woodbury County Task Force officers began tracking down a fugitive at 3:00pm on Friday. Geovanny Gonzalez-Gonzalez was holed up at a family member's home, on the rural road K-18 just north of Sioux City.
Family member told authorities Gonzalez-Gonzalez had a .380 pistol in his possession and they believed he was suicidal.
At 7:30pm, after several hours of not surrendering, he finally gave himself up and was booked into the Woodbury County Jail.
Gonzalez-Gonzalez was wanted for failing to appear for a court hearing. He was originally charged with drug trafficking.
We're following a developing story that brought several county, state and U.S. officials to a stretch of road just North Sioux City on Friday.

Responding vehicles were lined up down a gravel road near the intersection of K–18 and 314th Street. The rood has since been re–opened and we've learned the Plymouth County Sheriff's Office is being de–briefed.
