New Novel Portrays How True Love Can Defy Fate and Death.
Montréal, Quebec (PRWEB) January 12, 2013
In Her Dead Husband, author Alexandre de Sève tells the story of a man and a woman who defy social conformity and class distinction by falling in love, and, in the process, prevail against the bonds of fate and break the chains of time and death. Through this tale, de Sève asks his readers if they believe that the hand of fate sculpts their life journeys, or if they have the power within to determine and transform the course of their lives.
De Sève’s metaphysical romance is one that spans a thousand years, as the protagonists’ lives repeatedly intertwine over the course of several incarnations. Across history and the expanding sea of time, the ebb and flow of fate and karma play dice with their meetings and partings, sometimes drawing them together with the glacial pace of implacable surety, and at other times, painfully wrenching them apart with the abrupt suddenness of a whirlwind. Only after several lives do they stumble upon the path that allows them to depose the forces of destiny, time, and death.
In the vein of the magical realism of Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Paulo Coelho, Her Dead Husband is a powerful story that depicts how love can transfigure the character of the soul, making it holy, and rewrite destiny. Fans of romantic fiction, as well as those delving into spirituality and mysticism, will find De Sève’s story to be an inspiring portrayal of the power of true love.
