Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) January 12, 2013
Saul Schottenstein Foundation B and Susan & Jeffrey Harris Fund have made a grant to Breakthrough Cincinnati in support of the Breakthrough Scholar Program. The contribution is part of a four-year pledge to sponsor a Breakthrough Scholar student.
The Breakthrough Scholar Program provides students with trained and staff-supported teachers, state-standard aligned curriculum, school supplies, healthy meals, free transportation to and from the Cincinnati Country Cay Campus in the summer, and academic counseling sessions.
Jeffrey P. Harris, Saul Schottenstein’s nephew and a trustee of the foundation, believes the contribution furthers the foundation’s mission to partner with organizations that foster human acceptance and educational enrichment.
Saul Schottenstein Foundation B was established in 2009 by the Estate of Saul S. Schottenstein. Susan & Jeffrey Harris Fund was established in 2012. Visit the Saul Schottenstein Foundation B Web site at http://www.saulschottensteinfoundationb.org.
