It was quite a scene out on the ice at Saturday night's Musketeer hockey game. And we are not talking about the players. Nine little lap dogs lined up on the ice for the first Annual Lap Dog races, put on by the Siouxland Humane Society. When it was time to race, well at least one puppy had the right idea. The rest, were a little confused.
"Oh it was hilarious. I didn't think any of them were going to make it," said Sandy Hospers of Sioux City.
But one did! this little weiner dog named "Lucy" took home the first place prize. All proceeds from Saturday's dog race goes to benefit the Siouxland Humane Society.
