Thursday was the grand opening of the Sabre Industries Expansion project in the Bridgeport Business Park area in Sioux City.
The multi-million dollar, multi-phase expansion began back in June and six months later, phase one is completed.
"Probably put a facility of this size, which is a world class, full manufacturing facility in the United States, in less than six months, it can't be done unless you have cooperation that was done here. With the city, the state and all the people who were involved," said Peter Sandore, President and CEO of Sabre Industries.
The expansion project created 192 jobs, in addition to the 208 already created by Sabre. Phase II of the project is expected to begin in July.
