A decision was made Friday that could bring 11 new jobs and a $7.5 million expansion to Le Mars.
The Iowa Economic Development Authority has approved a tax abatement plan For BoDeans. The company makes wafers for ice cream products. The 5 year tax plan will give BoDeans tax breaks estimated to total almost $182,000. That dollar amount will also be matched locally.
BoDeans says it plans to create 11 full time jobs, and make a capital investment of $7.5 million when it installs another line at the wafer plant.
