The Mid-West Regional Dance Competition was held Saturday at South Sioux City High School. Girls showed off their skills to judges as they performed hip hop routines, and even military routines.
Some of the teams that participated were Sioux City Elite Dance Company, Sioux City North High School, South Sioux City High School, Bishop Heelan and many more.
"It's fun to come and watch all the hard work and different ideas that people have, they're so creative it's just kind of a day of entertainment it's cheaper than a movie," said Elite Dance Company coach, Amy Degroot.
Junior teams also competed. The competition was held from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
